Epic Drive Custom-Made Trolleys at the Logistica with Integrated Electric ´Fifth Wheel´.
This year Epic Drive did not have its own stand at the fair, but two our trolleys were visible thanks to EVC and Human Workspace.
The Custom-Made trolley at Human Workspace is designed for a picking process in a customer warehouse to collect and pack directly to end users. Even though the trolley is very light due to the use of aluminium, it can still work with 350 kilo loads. By adding the Epic Drive electric fifth wheel, the employees will not even notice they are working with such heavy load. Some special features, like steps, the layers with a decline, handles and integrated Pick-To-Light are specific customer requirements, and Epic Drive can facilitate them all due to the unique cooperation with sister BM constructions (a metal working company) and with the input from Human Workspace.
The Custom-Made trolley at EVC is designed for a picking and put away processes in a third-party logistics warehouse to put away and collect smaller, but heavy items in the automotive business. Even though this BIN cart seems small (120 x 60), it can still carry 350 kilos of load, making life much easier for the employees and more efficient for the customer. Some special features, besides the special size of the trolley, like the steps and the demountable layer are specific customer requirements, also made possible by the cooperation with BM constructions. But we can also use your trolley to add our electric ´fifth wheel´ kit on. There was also an example of such a kit at the stand of EVC to see if your fleet can be upgraded to operate with electric driving. EVC is happy to advise you what would be the best solution for you.
